Privacy Notice
Last updated: March 4, 2026
This notice explains how VibeMeta processes data when you use the app.
Who We Are
VibeMeta is an AI blueprint generator. Project owner: Lucenx9.
Contact: GitHub Issues
What Data Is Processed
- Idea text, selected model/provider, and generation settings.
- Optional BYOK API keys you provide for Anthropic/OpenAI requests.
- Browser-stored data: history (localStorage) and BYOK keys (sessionStorage, tab-scoped).
- Basic web analytics events (for example page views and route usage) processed through Vercel Analytics.
- Performance metrics (for example Core Web Vitals and route performance) processed through Vercel Speed Insights.
- Operational and security telemetry from hosting infrastructure (for reliability and abuse prevention).
BYOK Handling
- If you use BYOK, your key is sent over HTTPS to VibeMeta for the current request and immediately forwarded to the selected provider.
- VibeMeta is designed not to persist API keys on the server and not to log key values.
- Saved keys remain in your current browser session and are removed when the tab closes, unless you clear them earlier.
Cookies and Local Storage
VibeMeta currently uses browser storage for strictly necessary product functions (history and session keys). It does not use advertising or profiling trackers.
We also use privacy-focused product analytics to understand aggregated usage patterns and improve reliability. If tracking scope changes, this notice and any consent requirements will be updated accordingly.
Third-Party Providers
Generation requests may be processed through Anthropic and OpenAI APIs. Hosting, infrastructure, web analytics, and performance monitoring may be provided through Vercel.
Relevant policies:
Retention and International Transfers
- Browser history remains local until you delete it or clear browser data.
- BYOK keys in sessionStorage are removed when the tab session ends.
- API providers may process data in jurisdictions outside your country (including the United States) according to their legal mechanisms.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
